Where in Toronto can I get discounted designer clothes (eg. Ralph Lauren, Abercrombie)?
I'm travelling to Toronto. I'm looking to buy discounted brand named clothes, especially Tommy Hilfiger, Abercrombie, Hollister etc?? Which outlets or factory stores or shopping centres are the best ones to go to or the ones to avoid??
Thanks

Hmmm, the outlet mall scene is very inaccessible if you do not have a car. You have a better luck finding cheap big name American brands, in america itself.
One place that has a lot of factory stores, and a decent mall is Vaughan Mills. But it would like like 2 hrs by various buses. However, go to their website, they have a shuttle from downtown toronto, it will pick up and take you back downtown, limited spots and times though.
Honestly, just enjoy the city! Dont spend so long finding slightly discounted big names! Sales sections in toronto stores can be quite good! While department stores are lame, you can find good savings there! The Bay on Queen and Yonge is one of the best.
Just head to the Eaton Centre downtown for good deals. And then walk west on Queen Street, there are more stores between University and Spadina on Queen West, and more alternative stores from Spadina all the way to Ossington on Queen.
Another big mall is Yorkdale, it is on the subway line too.
And……another shopping area is Bloor Street from Yonge to Queen’s Park.
That’s pretty much it!
Honestly, look around find some more stylish clothing, Abercrombie and Hollister, is so BLAH, be an individual! Even Urban Outfitters and Forever 21 is way better!
Best of luck!
